How to pause, change or cancel your HomeBridge Global membership, and what happens to scheduled visits.
HomeBridge Global aims to make membership changes and cancellations straightforward. Unless otherwise stated when you subscribe, HomeBridge memberships do not require a long-term fixed contract.
You may request cancellation of your HomeBridge membership at any time. Unless applicable law or the terms presented at purchase require otherwise: • Cancellation stops the next renewal. • Your existing membership remains active until the end of the period already paid for. • No further recurring membership payment will be taken after cancellation becomes effective. You will retain access to applicable membership services until the end of the paid billing period, subject to these Terms and normal service availability.
Membership fees already paid are generally non-refundable for a partially used billing period unless: • Required by applicable law • HomeBridge expressly agrees otherwise • A billing error occurred • The relevant service terms provide for a refund Nothing in this policy affects rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Any included visit entitlement should be used within the applicable membership period unless the relevant plan expressly states that it may be carried forward. Unused membership entitlements do not automatically convert into cash or a refund.
You may request an upgrade or downgrade between available HomeBridge membership plans. Where supported: UPGRADES may take effect immediately or from the date shown when the change is confirmed. DOWNGRADES normally take effect from the next billing period so that the customer retains the benefits of the plan already paid for. The effective date and any charge adjustment should be shown before the plan change is confirmed.
If you need to change a scheduled HomeBridge visit, please provide at least: 24 HOURS' NOTICE where reasonably possible. HomeBridge will make reasonable efforts to offer another available time.
If a scheduled visit cannot proceed because: • Required property access was not available • The household was unavailable • HomeBridge was not informed of a material change • The visit was cancelled with insufficient notice HomeBridge may treat some or all of the visit entitlement as used where: • Personnel have already travelled to the property • Material costs have already been incurred • The scheduled time can no longer reasonably be reassigned Where practical, HomeBridge will consider the circumstances before doing so.
If HomeBridge cannot perform a confirmed visit because of: • Staff availability • Safety concerns • Operational disruption • Severe weather • Transport disruption • Other reasonable circumstances we will seek to offer an alternative appointment. Where HomeBridge permanently cannot provide a paid service that has not been delivered, an appropriate credit, replacement service or refund may be offered depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
HomeBridge may cancel, stop or reschedule a visit where continuing would create a safety, legal or operational concern. This includes situations where: • The environment appears unsafe • Appropriate consent is unavailable • The requested activity is outside the HomeBridge service scope • Emergency or specialist assistance is required HomeBridge is not an emergency-response service.
Cancelling a HomeBridge membership does not automatically cancel or refund authorised commitments already made to independent third parties. Third-party charges may remain payable where: • Work has already commenced • Goods or materials have been ordered • A third-party cancellation charge applies • The customer previously authorised the expenditure Where HomeBridge is only coordinating the service, the relevant third-party provider's own cancellation terms may apply.
Where HomeBridge offers: • Pilot pricing • Introductory pricing • Promotional pricing • Discounted membership periods the applicable: • Price • Duration • Renewal price • Eligibility conditions will be disclosed when the customer signs up. Unless expressly stated otherwise, customers participating in an introductory or pilot offer may cancel under the same normal cancellation process.
Where available, customers should be able to request cancellation through: • Their HomeBridge Customer Portal and/or • HomeBridge customer support Customers may also contact: hello@homebridgeglobal.com Cancellation confirmation should be provided once the request has been processed.
Cancelling a membership does not automatically delete the customer's HomeBridge account or historical service records. Customers may separately request account closure or exercise applicable privacy rights in accordance with the HomeBridge Privacy Policy.
